Today is Father’s Day and I
celebrate Loran Ramsey who was my adoptive
father and Ken Perkins who was my father-in-law who treated me like his
son. I also remember in prayer the
biological father who left when I was little.
But most of all I honor and celebrate my Heavenly Father who has always
been there for me.
After scripture reading and our
devotional we went to Asbury United Methodist Church for the Father’s Day
service and the first service of their new pastor. It was a good service and a good
message. Whenever I go to Asbury I see
so many Saints who have gone to be with the Lord. They still worship God and the faces of those
who are still at Asbury are a reflection of those who have gone to be with the
Lord.
The pain settles in and I get so
weary. Weary and worn, but also weary of
being weary and being in pain. Lately my
neck has been hurting so bad. All the
other places hurt but they seem drowned out by the pain in the side and my
neck. My Love, please be my strength and
my hope!
