Thursday June 1
After sleeping part of yesterday I didn’t expect to sleep last night but did sleep well.  Woke up better rested but the pain was still there.  Was very stiff at first but got better during the day.
Bonnie and I have been using Reliving the Passion by Walter Wangerin Jr. Meditations on the Suffering, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus as Recorded in Mark on Kindle.  It is so powerful to walk through the Passion of Jesus.  Both His great suffering and His great love for us!  And to experience the love of the Father to give more than His own life, but to offer His only Son!!!  The false god’s demand an offering, but God GIVES and offering!!!
Finished the Gospel of John for my Bible reading.  What a powerful picture as Jesus stands before Pilate and we see the terror of the Jewish leaders, the vacillation of Pilate and the quiet dignity and power of Jesus.  Jesus shows more dignity in dying for my sin than I show in dealing with my own pain and suffering.
Some will say I do not deserve this pain and suffering but I know that without Jesus I deserve so much worse!  I deserve an eternity of suffering!  But God is gracious and gives meaning to my suffering and even to my broken life!  Oh Glorious God of infinite love!  How I love You and only ask that in and through all I go through You may be glorified!
Bonnie and Rebecca went to Mom’s house to get it ready for our move.  Got our mover on board and getting some things ready for the move.  I was able to do some laundry to help Bonnie.  Left me tired and weak.

I had a visitor today and thoroughly enjoyed the visit and talking with them.  Some may notice I do not put a lot of names of people.  I do not know if they would like their names mentioned but please know each of your names is lifted before God!
