Tuesday May 30

            In John 5 I watched as the paralyzed man was instantly healed.  So many wonder what that was like but I know!  God healed me from a blood disease when I was 19 years old and had 6 months to live!  Now as I hurt and get weaker each day I still see God’s healing as He continues to love, support and provide for us!  Jesus is truth and He words have brought life to me!!!

            Today is sort of a blur to me until later.  Later I made the soup from the pork roast and some frozen vegetables and made the spaghetti sauce for supper.  It was good to be able to do something.  To be productive in a way I am used to.  

            Now I have to be productive in a different way.  I spend time in the Bible and in prayer.  I write this to keep a record of God’s Glorious Love to me and my family.

            In all that we have gone through I have tried to be an encouragement to Bonnie, Rebecca and to others I have contact with.   I have experienced those in pain who become angry and bitter and become a burden to their caregivers.  I have asked God to help me not become that in the midst of the pain.   I think of the song “Valley of Pain” by Randy Travis.
