This was a long day for me and I was
so proud I could do it all. For lunch we
met with Gus and Jeanie Angle from McKendree.
It was so good to see them and to talk about our time at McKendree and
the people there. We had six years at McKendree
and so many friends and people we love.
When I left First some hoped I would
remember them. I remember Well Springs,
Cawood, Flat Hollow which is closed, Morrison Chapel, Washington Chapel which
is closed, Asbury, Church Hill First, McKendree as well as First Jefferson
City. Each one and some many we served
and still love continue to be in our prayers!
They blessed me more than I ever blessed them.
Some thought God should heal me but
I told them that when I was 19 God saved my soul and my life from a terminal
disease. For over 30 years I saw and experienced
the Grace of God, I saw His light come to the eyes of many, I received a family
when they told me I would not be able to have children and My Love has held me
and I have sat in His lap many times. His will now is that I go through this time
of pain and suffering and being torn by horrific memories I had hidden. Blessed be the Lord and My Love! I give thanks to God when I have seen Him
bring them to Himself and I give thanks for the horrific pain at times feeling
like someone is removing a bone from my legs without anesthesia.
My Love allows me to sit in His lap
and be comforted and at that time I and refreshed and re-created. And My Loves tells me when I make Him
smile!!!
I also was able to attend Melanie’s,
my sister-in-laws, Birthday party. It
was good to be able to be there for a family celebration. I have missed so many!
