            Slept some better and a little more rested.  Was able to do a little bit and help out.  Stomach troubled and it seems to becoming more consistent and constant.

            Had a good time listening to the scriptures and Bonnie and I had a great devotional.  We were talking about the world situation and two thoughts came to mind. 

            First, that of more concern than the storms that hit in Houston and that is coming toward Florida, the fires out West, the situation in the Mid-East and the terrible stain of slavery is the storm of hatred, fear, anger and destructiveness in so many lives!  We are not only destroying ourselves but also our community.

            Second, that there is an immense difference between the Lord God and Allah.  Where God sent Jesus to die for us Allah calls his people to conquer to convert.

            God is so good to not only put us up but to put up with us!  God hears the cry of every soul and if we will open our souls, hearts and ears we will experience His presence and love.  In the midst of my deepest pain I rejoice in my Lord and My Love!
