November 8, 2017 Wednesday

Rested rather than slept last night.  It seems that the bad days last longer and are worse than before.  The good days are not as good and are becoming a good day rather than days.

We are praying for the Bennett family in this time of loss.  It has been just under a year since Dad died.  Even as I grieve for Dad I celebrate that he is alive and well in Jesus Christ.  I pray the Bennett’s will receive the hope of the resurrection to comfort them in their grief.

We had a great visit with Rev Ashley Helton.  She has a great heart for Asbury and it was good to be able to share with her.  Her comfort and care for us during this time of loss was very kind and helpful.  She is so good to be there for those hurting or grieving.
The day went downhill after that but I had a wonderful time of prayer. It always seems that on the worst days I have the best times of prayer.  God does bring so much good from the pain.
