January 18, 2018 Thursday

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.” (Psalm 139:1-6 NIV)

I fear this verse!  I fear the searching of God for I know what I am and I know who I am!  I know that my tongue is not always filled with God’s Word but is often filled with my anger and fear.

I remember the lady who once told me that she only wanted what she deserved!  But is that what you want?  Do you want the pain and destruction and the hell in this life to grow into your hell in the next?

Pray and discover that God is all around you waiting for you to let Him in and that God will lay His hand upon you and watch over you.

In this world of fear know that God is around you and watching over you!  Let God into your heart and through His love know and experience the hope faith and love He has for you.  In the ground of hope let the seed of faith grow into a mighty plant that produces the fruit of love that provides seed for others!

For then you will KNOW that “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.” Fear the Lord while He may be found!  Cry out for mercy from God while you may be found!  Rest in God’s love that you who are lost will find God!

You who think you need it least need it most!  Lest we get what we DESERVE!

Today is a good day, a great day!  I caught up on this blog, prepared cards to send out, prayed for so many and was able to eat well.  I know that God is so good today but God is also so good on the worst of days.  I pray God will help me be good on the worst days!
