“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”” (Genesis 1:28 NKJV)

     God commands man: male and female, what their place is in His Creation. To fully understand mans place in Creation it is helpful to understand what some of the important words mean.

Fruitful – cause to bear fruit to, to produce fruit.

Multiply - to become many, to become much to be plentiful.

Fill - consecrate, accomplish, replenish

Subdue - bring into subjection, bring into bondage, keep under

Dominion - rule, dominate, prevail

     As God has complete dominion so man who is created in God’s image will also have dominion over the earth and all which dwell there.

Give God thanks for what you have.

Praise God for who He is.
