May 18,2020
35 And when he had said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it he began to eat. 36 Then they were all encouraged, and also took food themselves.” (Acts 27:35-36 NKJV)
      In this frightening time Paul acted through faith rather than reacting with fear. Then Paul does something interesting. Paul has what is very close to Communion and by this they were encouraged.
      In Paul’s time eating together, or sharing table as it was know, brought a sense of unity and for this time they are part of the family and the host is required to protect those sharing table. We can see this as Lot tried to protect the angels and Jesus offering Himself for us.
