“Jesus said to him, “He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.”” (John 13:10 NKJV)

Baptism is a symbol of God’s cleansing us. From this verse many see Foot Washing as a necessary part of the Christian life. As we walk in this fallen world we need to cleanse our feet so our walk will continue to be holy. Footwashing is also a way of understanding leadership as Jesus washed the feet of His followers
