God,

We want to be comfortable but the hurting inconvenience us with their constant screams and cries. Why can’t they be quiet in their suffering and stop making us so uncomfortable? They will not let us sleep comfortably.

Why should we hurt just because they hurt? Aren’t You supposed to take care of them God? Why should our hands and feet hurt because of them? Their pain must be silenced so we will not question You and that You will take care of us!

God why can’t You give us ears which cannot hear and eyes which cannot see? Why don’t You?

Praying for those who hurt and those who hurt others makes us hurt! Why should we hurt just because they do?

Please let us sleep a little longer!
